Grandparents arrive for 1week birthday

The Marys are still in the intensive care unit where they will be for quite a while, but they are progressing nicely.  No major setbacks to speak of.  The Dr.s  are never sure what to expect when they deliver ttts babies this premature, and so far they are impressed with the Marys’ progress.

Elizabeth has lost a lot of her swelling and is starting to look nice and wrinkled like her big sister.  Ellen has a regular IV in her arm now.   Elizabeth still has IV going through her umbilical cord, but might get it changed on Monday.

The grandparents are coming to town today.  All four of them drove Stacy’s truck and are flying back with the boys on Sunday.  I am sure the girls will be excited for more family!

Not much to write about.  We will keep you posted as things change.  We can’t thank you all enough for the PRAYERS!

Love,The Goveas

Starting Monday Our address is the Ronald McDonald House:

  4. The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right, and his ears are open to his prayers.
    I Peter 3:12

I love the Lord because he hears and answers my prayers.
    Psalm 116:1

Pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer has power & wonderful results.
    James 5:16

Three different times I begged the Lord to heal me. Each time he said, “ power works best in your weakness.”
    II Corinthians 12:8-9

While God answers prayer it is not always what we expect…we have to trust his answer of yes, wait or no…..Often he provides something different yet better than we asked for.

Ellen & Elizabeth join our prayer….

  5. We continue to pray for your family… seems that everywhere i looked today I saw reasons to be grateful……and I think of the lessons Mary Elizabeth and Mary Ellen have taught us this far…God is awesome….He listens to our prayers and answers them and we have so much to be thankful for.
