  4. From the responsorial psalm today:

    “One thing I ask of the LORD; this I seek:
    To dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life,
    That I may gaze on the loveliness of the LORD
    and contemplate his temple.”

    I am sure Mary Elizabeth saw the loveliness of the Lord manifested in the loving gaze of her parents today. She just keeps on showing us all how to open our eyes and recognize the beautiful works of the Lord…right here in our midst! We are all blessed to witness this wonderful series of miracles and our Lord working right here in our parish family.

  5. How exciting! Look at those sweet eyes! They are sure to melt your heart. I think that she may have a competitive edge to her. Sounds like God has answered our prayers. It seems that the girls are working hard at getting stronger, so they can meet all of their friends and family waiting at home. Maybe having all of their family there this weekend pushed Elizabeth, she wanted to see for herself what she was missing out on. We will eagerly await for Ellen to open her eyes and to hear that Elizabeth can breathe on her own. Hope that this was a fun weekend and good luck tomorrow on the move to the Ronald McDonald house.

    Love, Joe, Lo, Shelby, Joey, Al, Grant and Lilly

  6. My people who walked in darkness have seen a great light;
    Upon those who dwell in the land of gloom a light has shone.
    You have brought them abundant joy & great rejoicing.
    Isaiah 9:1
