I don’t have alot of info, but…
Mary Elizabeth and Mary Ellen were born @ 11:11 and 11:12 and were 1lb 7 oz and 1lb 5oz.
Both girls are stable and Stacy is doing well.
“They are as good as we can expect right now” was what the doctor said.

DEU 10:21 He is your praise; he is your God, who performed for you those great and awesome wonders you saw with your own eyes.
Tears filled our eyes and we could finally take a deep breath of relief. What miracles you have. What strong little girls! They must feel the strength that you both have. This must be one of the most amazing miracles you have seen God perform. We feel blessed to be witnesses through you. We will pray that they continue to fight to get stronger. We are glad that Stacy made it through and is doing well. Thank you God for blessing The Govea Family!! Amen.
Love you, Joseph, Lauren, Shelby, Joey, Alan,Grant and Lillian

Thank God for modern medicine and for those who God has entrusted the skills to use this knowledge! As a matter of hope our grandson, Malachi Xavier, was born at 27 weeks on January 23, 2006 at 1 pound 13 ounces, only slighly larger than the Marys. When I first saw him I was both joyful and fearful. However, great comfort was given by the reassurance of the medical staff in the NICU at St. Luke’s. For them this little innocent creature of God was going to be OK. I still remember one nurse telling me , “Oh, we’ve had them a lot smaller than he”.
So, Goveas, be concerned yet comforted in that the Lord watches over the young and the innocent. And by the way, our grandson is a very healthy 26-27 pounder and is now a wonderful reflection of the “Terrible Twos”.
God be with you and your children.

Stacy & Bo, I’m just finding out about your blog, otherwise I would’ve responded earlier and have kept you and your family in my prayers. First of all, congratulations on the birth of your girls! You couldn’t have picked out more beautiful names. Second, if there is anything we can do for you, please holler!! Of course, you all will be thought of often and kept in our hearts and prayers. We love you and hope God will hear and answer us.
With love,
Reg

Bo & Stacy-
We have been following your blog and saying many prayers for you the last couple of weeks. We know the experience of having two preemies and what a roller coaster ride you are in for with the NICU. Just know that we are thinking about you all and praying for Ellen and Elizabeth. These little miracles can be so strong and such fighters – it is amazing!
“Behold, children are a gift of the LORD; The fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one’s youth. How blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them…”(Psalm 127:3-5)
God Bless,

Bo and Stacy,
We’re thinking of you, praying for your family and thanking the Lord for your faith and the support of others on your journey. May the Lord watch over your amazing little miracle girls as they grow strong and may He be with the doctors and nurses as they care of you. Take care and continue to be strong.
