2lbs. But no party today

Elizabeth reached 2lbs. last night.  This is a big milestone!  Ellen is at 2lbs. 14oz.

I came in town last night so we could celebrate this milestone.  Praise God for answering all of our prayers.  Stacy has some great pictures and we will post later tonight.

I know you all have a lot of prayers on your list with the Marys and Andrea Husong and we cant thank you enough.  Keep up the good work.

We do have another big prayer request.  We are asking you all to add Stacy’s mom to your prayer list.  Her name is Lynn Rimmer and she was admitted to the hospital yesterday.  The dr.s don’t know exactly what is going on but we do know that she has some type of autoimmune disorder.  Her red blood cells are under attack and apparently this is VERY serious!  Needless to say the family is concerned and need your prayers.

Love, The Goveas

  3. Although the party will have to wait, the news is great! “Twin hope” is working!! The girls just continue to be fighters, must come from good genes! We will pray that Stacy’s mom gets some good news soon and things start to turn around for her. You are all in our prayers as you continue to push through these times that God seems to really be testing your faith and spirits! Hang in there and know that we are here for you.

  5. Horray for the girls!! This is the milestone that we have been waiting for. We are excited for all of you! There will be a day to party soon, I am sure that they will understand and know that their grandma needs the prayers right now. We can’t wait to see the pictures, the girls look so different with each pound that they gain.

We will say our prayers for your mom and keep her close to our hearts. You know that the prayers will be said tonight by all your loyal prayer warriors. Don’t loose the faith now, look how far you have come. Just another bump in the road. We pray that your moms results are positive news.

  10. Stacy,
I know your girls haven’t officially graduated NICU but there is a reunion party on the 28th for St Mark’s NICU graduates. I’d love to meet you.

  11. Stacy,
YEAH for Elizabeth!!! Can’t wait to see the pictures. Stacy, you know I have been through scary times with my own mom, but I am here to say that we both made it through with lots of love and prayers! I know this sounds cliche, but you really just have to take it one day at a time with whatever is going on with your mom. Nobody knows that better than you considering that is what you have had to do with the babies. Your faith will be iron clad after this is all over! Please tell your mom we are praying for her all the way down here in Georgia and we wish her the very best!
    Love to you all,
    Brandy

  16. Stacy-
I am so glad that the girls have reached such a big milestone!! I am sorry to hear about your mother. My mom has an autoimmune disease and has been seeing a doctor at the Mayo clinic in Rochester for the last two and a half years. She is stabilized and doing well. I know autoimmune diseases are rare and she would be happy to talk to you if you would like more information. I will keep your mom in my prayers!
